This week in class we saw a video of an overcrowded train in China and how the train workers had to push all the passengers inside the wagons before the trains departed. This made me think about the public transportation in NYC. People say New Yorkers are ruthless but when I saw this video it made me reliazed that we're not that bad. Yes there's always people shoving each other to get on the train but when we see it's full we don't try and and push more people in. If we see no more people can get in we wait for the next one.
On this video there were people, workers to be specific who pushed people in even though the wagons were already full. I don't know about you guys but if I had a man pushing and touching me like that I would feel weirded out. This also made me think about the cultural norms that they have on the other side of the world.
This summer I went to Asia (Taiwan and Thailand) for two weeks and it was the most amazing experience ever. This was my first time on that side of the world so I was excited to learn about new cultures. When I got to Taiwan I immediately saw the different norms that they had over there, the same thing in Thailand. It's always go to learn new cultures and and learn the norms of other countries
